About
Hi, I’m Joshua, a life coach and trauma-informed breathwork facilitator from Nottingham, England.
My work is shaped by lived experience. I was born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness and was disfellowshipped in 2018. That experience, along with losing my marriage and learning to co-parent while rebuilding life from scratch, became a huge part of my ‘waking up’ and healing journey. It also gave me a deep understanding of how religious trauma can impact identity, safety, belonging, and the more vulnerable parts of ourselves.
Today, I support people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or in transition, especially those recovering from high-control environments, burnout, or major life change. My approach is grounded, compassionate, and practical, blending coaching with nervous system education and somatic tools.
Breathwork is one of the simplest and fastest ways to calm and regulate the nervous system. By working with the breath, we send signals to the brain that help the body shift out of stress and into a more settled state. Deeper somatic breathwork practices can also support emotional release and help move stuck stress and trauma through the body in a safe, supported way.
If you’re curious, feel free to reach out. I’m happy to answer questions and help you find the right next step.
